Dixon Ticonderoga Announces Voluntary Recall of Creativity Street® Craft Button Assortments

Appleton, Wisconsin – Dixon Ticonderoga Company, the owner of the brand Creativity Street®, is initiating a voluntary recall of all PAC6121 Creativity Street® Craft Button Assortments and PAC6121-R Creativity Street® Craft Button Assortments. During internal testing of a sample of the Craft Button Assortments, some of the buttons were found to have lead in excess of the federal lead content ban.

 

This issue is an isolated case, and the Craft Button Assortments are all under a specific Lot Code. Dixon Ticonderoga Company received the Craft Button Assortments with the lot code 02129171221 on May 16, 2022. Craft Button Assortments that are impacted by this recall were delivered to and sold at our customers AFTER May 16, 2022.

Consumers who purchased the Craft Button Assortments AFTER May 16, 2022 should look for the Lot Code on the package. No other Lot Codes are impacted by this recall. Any consumers who purchased Craft Button Assortments with the matching Lot Code should discontinue use and contact our Customer Service team at 1-800-333-2545 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST Monday through Friday or email the Compliance team at compliance@dixonusa.com for a refund.
